রাজ্যের সরকারি হাসপাতালে ইন্টার্ন থেকে শুরু করে পোস্ট ডক্টরেট ট্রেনি পর্যন্ত সর্বস্তরের চিকিৎসকদের বেতন বৃদ্ধির সিদ্ধান্ত রাজ্য সরকারের। সোমবার কলকাতার আলিপুরে ধনধান্য প্রেক্ষাগৃহে চিকিৎসকদের সম্মেলনে এ কথা জানান মুখ্যমন্ত্রী তথা রাজ্যের স্বাস্থ্যমন্ত্রী মমতা বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায়। সিনিয়র রেসিডেন্ট চিকিৎসকদের বেতন ১৫ হাজার টাকা করে বৃদ্ধি পাচ্ছে। ইন্টার্ন, হাউস স্টাফ, পোস্ট গ্র্যাজুয়েট ট্রেনি চিকিৎসক এবং পোস্ট ডক্টরেট শিক্ষানবিশ চিকিৎসকদের বেতন ১০ হাজার টাকা করে বৃদ্ধি করার সিদ্ধান্ত রাজ্য সরকারের।
The state government has decided to increase the salary of all levels of doctors from interns to post-doctoral trainees in government hospitals of the state. Chief Minister and State Health Minister Mamata Banerjee said this at a conference of doctors at Dhandhanya Theater in Alipore, Kolkata on Monday. The salary of senior resident doctors is increasing to 15 thousand rupees. The state government has decided to increase the salary of interns, house staff, post graduate trainee doctors and post doctorate trainee doctors by 10 thousand rupees.
